Term 4 Moana trip to MERC
On the 27th October the Year 10 Outdoor Education class went to MERC for a Moana Trip. The day was mostly overcast with some showers while the students were on the water. The students developed and demonstrated water safety and marine education skills. The students worked together to build and race rafts, developed some basic surf skills, paddled a giant stand up paddle board together and explored the creatures in the rock pools. Near the end of the day, they were blessed to see a large pod of dolphins swim past.
