Year 11 Art and DVC Art Gallery Trip

On Monday the 31st of August the Year 11 Art and DVC students got the pleasure of going on a guided gallery tour and artist workshop at Auckland Art Gallery. Ākonga experienced national and international artists work currently displayed at the gallery with a guided talk about the artist, their work and media. Students then got to enjoy an artist workshop based on Reuben Paterson and his ethos of finding moments of inspiration through experimentation. It was an epic day and the access we have to such incredible art for free is amazing!
