South Auckland Performing Arts Competition - Jazz Band

Our school Jazz Band made its debut live performance at the South Auckland Performing Arts Competition on Sunday the 2nd August. They took the stage at Papakura's Hawkins Theatre in the competition's band category, performing two classic 1960s soul songs: the instrumental 'Last Night' and 'Hold On, I'm Coming'. The set was very well received and the judges awarded the band a highly respectable Very Highly Commended award. We can be very proud of our students.
